ELEGOO’s Smart Robot Car Kit V4.0 is the Arduino kit in our English guides. We haven’t had one in our hands yet, so our view draws on ELEGOO’s spec sheet and our comparisons.

Strengths

  • Complete kit with an UNO R3 board and detailed tutorials.
  • Wi-Fi control and FPV camera on the V4.0.
  • Standard Arduino parts: easy to repair and extend.
  • Low price compared with LEGO education kits.

Limits

  • C/C++ text coding: best from about 12–13, with adult help at first.
  • Steep learning curve: IDE, wiring, compile errors.
  • Screw assembly; less rugged than LEGO bricks.

Warranty and after-sales service

ELEGOO official policy (checked 23 October 2026): 12 months on Arduino, robot and component kits from receipt of the order; proof of purchase required; misuse, third-party repair and modification excluded.
